I use the jack-o-lantern color and cut as independent seatwork with my students. The Color and Cut pages include all small-motor skills: writing, tracing, coloring and cutting. I like to do 2 Color and Cut pages each week. I keep one in the student's folder and I send one home on Fridays with notations to the parents about progress in the fine motor skill area of the curriculum.
I use the pocket chart words in small groups with students that need extra help with writing sentences on their daily work.
I use the document camera word cards with the entire class to do sentences together before they begin working independently.
I have included a creative writing blank paper for those students that need to be challenged.
The last page of the product is a fully completed sample to use with the document camera when giving instructions on completing the assignment.
