PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This project is designed to have students gain knowledge about the Jamestown Colony of 1607. It is tiered in a differentiated format that allows students autonomy in collecting information while also providing accountability. Students must choose what grade they want to earn based on the project guidelines. Project C has a 72% as the maximum grade that can be earned. Project B has an 88% as the maximum grade that can be earned, and Project A allows students to earn up to a 100%. This project really forces students to be accountable for their own learning, but with the guidance of an instructor. Students will create a 3-Dimensional Jamestown Settlement, with the option of designing a live-action performance and a visual timeline. The assessment portion of this project only covers content and does not grade the delivery method. It is engaging, informative, hands-on, and a student favorite.
