Description
This fun Jan Brett unit will have your students enjoying the holidays with these troll themed stories. During this unit, your students will focus on problem and solution. There are many other strategies included as well such as character analysis, questioning, main idea and details and lots of writing and crafts. This was created for one week of whole group guided reading and writing. There are daily lesson plan ideas, anchor chart posters, literacy connections, sorting activities, crafts and writing connections. The featured text in this unit are: The Trouble with Trolls, Christmas Troll, Wild Christmas Reindeer, Gingerbread Christmas, Who's That Knocking on Christmas Eve?, Home for Christmas, The Animals' Santa.
