This daily non-verbal homework calendar is designed to provide suggestions of activities caregivers can do at home with young or lower functioning children. No expressive language skills are needed to complete any of these activities. Each week contains activities that target areas of common weaknesses.
The first week targets the concepts of hot/cold/frozen/melt and following directions containing the exclusionary terms no/not.
The second week targets winter vocabulary and snowmen activities.
The third week targets the letter /o/ and reading the included book which targets sight words “I” and “can”. Some verbs are also introduced.
The fourth week continues to target verbs and also targets early money skills.
The fifth week contains winter themed sensory activities.
