Short Vowels Match-Up:
Students will match the picture in the cave to the short /a/, short /i/ or short /o/ word on the bear cards. Then, they will write the words on the recording page.

Mixed-Up Sentences:
Students will unscramble each of four different sentences (sentences are color-coded and begin with different symbols). Then they will record the sentences on their recording page.

Who Ate More Fish - The Bear or the Penguin:
Students will arrange the bear and penguin cards on the pocket chart. Then they will count the number of fish that each animal ate, record the numbers on their recording page and color the animal that ate the MOST fish.

Missing Number Mystery:
Students will determine the missing number in each set of numbers (first, middle and last numbers) and write the missing number on their recording page. They can then check their work by pulling out a number card that is located behind the missing number. SO FUN!
