Product Description

These Science and Social Studies activities will keep your students engaged, even in the darkness of winter. Plus, they are easy for the teacher to prepare!

Isn’t it tough to find time for Science and Social Studies?

I developed these activities to make it easier to squeeze these important subjects into my second grade classroom. January brings Ben Franklin’s birthday, National Static Electricity Day, Martin Luther King day, and winter for many parts of the world. These activities practice these important skills: reading nonfiction text, Science Process skills: predicting, inferring, observing, reading maps, and using timelines
