January Sight Word Worksheets - Race and Trace
This packet includes 25 worksheets and are perfect for revising the top 100 words in all that we read!
There are 5 main worksheet styles, each provided in 5 different themes (penguin, polar bear, snowman, winter boy, winter girl).
Each worksheet features 20 words. They can be used as part of our 100 SIght Words program, or as a stand alone.
Students must spin, using a pencil and paper clip and TRACE the word they land on.
I have included instructions to guide you through implementing this as an individual, partner or small group activity! Students can race themselves or race a partner or small group.
Each time a student spins a word, they must read it - this will give them loads of practice in recognizing sight words!
The words match the other resources that we have in our "100 Sight Word' program!
Set 1 teaches the 20 most frequently occurring words in all that we read. Set 2 adds the next 20, and so on. All 5 sets, together teach the 100 most frequently occurring words in all that we read.
