Ideal for the 8th grade class who is studying the Internment of Japanese Americans during World War II. This activity includes eight terms and definitions covering the internment of Japanese Americans. There are many possible uses for this activity. In my classroom all students complete this cut and paste activity as a review in their own interactive notebook after we have covered the unit but before any test or quiz. This assignment could also be used prior to teaching about the internment to see what students all ready know and to help introduce them to the main points. If using as a introduction I would suggest not having students glue down definitions until after they have learned. This will give them a chance to go back and see how much they have learned.
