Japanese History Puzzles is my go-to resource for Japanese history. The puzzle pieces are designed to be easy to cut and the information is presented as prompts in order to give you opportunities for writing or discussion in your classroom.

When to use Japanese History Puzzles:

  • At the end of each unit of study
  • To review for mid-terms
  • To review for finals
  • As a substitute lesson
  • On short days

Each piece of information is written as prompt for easier remembering. Once the puzzles are complete have the students use the prompts. They can talk out each puzzle piece or write out the answers for each prompt.

Use these in world history, Asian history, or any Japanese history class.

I also like to reinforce PERSIA Charts with students. Have students identify how they would classify each prompt. “This is Political. This is Social.”
