Students will be able to make 3D mobiles which make great classroom displays!
The mobiles would reinforce teacher-led discussion about the start of Summer in Japan. There are about 6 weeks of humid, rainy weather called TSUYU.
Two templates are included, together with step by step photo instructions.
One template is for an Umbrella, with kanji AME for students to colour.
The other is for a TERU TERU BOUZU doll - a good weather charm, commonly made by Japanese children when they pray for good weather. Students can draw their own faces and trace over the hiragana for teruteru bouzu.
The patterns are easy to print on A4 paper.
