This will become a valuable part of your resource set for teaching Hiragana and helping students to become more confident with their Hiragana.
This set contains 32 cards, all with a photos taken when I was in Japan in January 2014, and a brief sentence or description of the photo. The sentence structures used are; ＿＿＿＿＿です。
＿＿＿＿が すき です (か）。
I find that many students learn Hiragana as a single symbol and are able to recognise it, however once it is in a word, and following that, a sentence, they panic and say that they cannot do it. So I try to have some progressions; Hiragana - Sight Words - Short Sentence Cards (1 sentence building to 3-4 sentences) - Classroom Readers - Japanese Children's Books.
More sets will follow on a variety of topics.
