The story used as the basis for this unit uses repetitive language making it readily accessible to primary school - aged students.

The unit is presented in hiragana ( no romaji).

It aligns well with the Australian Curriculum ( draft version) for Japanese. Whilst it covers content descriptions outlined for Years 3 and 4, older students, with less experience, would also benefit from undertaking this unit.
