This simple resource for Japanese classrooms can be used for bulletin board borders.
Displaying the ‘footprints’ may encourage students to read the hiragana! いのししどし is rather fun to say out aloud too!
I have included both B&W and coloured versions to help accommodate different school printing allowances. The B&W versions could always be printed onto coloured cover paper to make a more striking display.
The shapes could be laminated and cut into separate parts, for students to sequence as a start of year activity too!
