Teaching Kindergarten and Grade 1 students to read in French is both exciting and challenging.  Phonemic Awareness and phonics skills are foundational reading skills.

Phonological/Phonemic Awareness provides a strong foundation for early reading success. This resource is aimed to help students learn to read in French by teaching them one skill at a time to help build their phonemic awareness. Students with a strong phonemic awareness are much more likely to be successful readers.

This Phonemic Awareness Kit is designed to make teaching phonological/phonemic skills fast, fun and effective. This kit can be used for
