Product Description
A glyph is a representation of data in picture form. In these worksheets, students are asked to color different parts of the picture depending on what they are hearing from the music.

These glyphs are designed with specific jazz pieces in mind. There are a variety of levels included, each with 3-4 things to listen for, including fast/slow, loud/soft, staccato/legato, various instruments, etc. Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, the music is not included.

Listening glyphs included for:
"At Last" sung by Etta James
"My Favorite Things" performed by John Coltrane
"Take Five" performed by the Dave Brubeck Quartet
"It Don't Mean a Thing" performed by Duke Ellington & Ella Fitzgerald
"Georgia on My Mind" performed by Ray Charles
"Blue Monk" by Thelonius Monk
