“I'm making some of the greatest art being made now. It'll take the art world ten years to get around to it. "(Jeff Koons)
This packet contains examples of only some of contemporary Pop Artist, Jeff Koon’s, prolific art. His work is highly important because he is taking the lead in the art market, with his sculpture, “Balloon Dog (Orange)” being sold for the highest recorded amount for any living artist. He is innovative in his use of ready-mades, unusual materials, and using icons of popular culture in his art.
This packet of six Open-Ended worksheets contains work from a variety of his styles. It is no way meant to be inclusive. Open Ended, is usually a student directed process, where they can draw their feelings, emotions, reactions to the art work in the blanks provided.
