My powerpoint presentations are typically short and sweet. You will not see slides with an overwhelming amount of information. I use these presentations after my kids have had the chance to explore the topic through text and other resources.
This product has 11 slides that discuss the following views of Jefferson and Hamilton: Views on human nature, best type of government, political parties, ideal economy, and the Constitution.
Students complete a graphic organizer while viewing the slides. When they have finished note-taking, they will put on their "detective hats" and determine who seven quotes belong to based on their notes. The must name either Jefferson or Hamilton and explain (based on their notes) why they attribute the quote to them.
There is an answer document included.
I would really appreciate a comment!
I hope you and your students enjoy it!
