Jellybeans are a fun learning tool to use in March or April. They are a great learning tool to get kids excited for Easter. This jellybean activity set includes 4 different activities that can be used in centers, small groups, with partners, or as individual work. These activities are loved each year and played over and over again by my kindergarten students. All 4 activities have one or two common core standards addressed. There is a Common Core write up to accompany all 4 activities:
1) Jellybean Circle Graph –activity sheet-1page
2) Where Are the Jellybeans Activity- 2 sheets that can be run back to back- This sheet works on reading simple sentences, identify position words, and drawing the jellybeans in a spot to match the position word.
3) Jellybean Sentences: - Writing Activity- Students illustrate a jellybean and create a sentence about it.
4) Guess Which One? A jellybean partner game. It is played like the board game, Guess Who? Students work on asking questions, and review kindergarten skills learned through the year. Review of shapes, colors, letters, and numbers.
