For this activity, you will need a painted Jenga set. The set should have 9 colors, with 6 blocks for each color. Students work in small groups of 3 or 4. The student whose turn it is selects a block color they would like to move and a number to solve under that color. Every person in the group solves in their math notebook, on a piece of paper, or on a dry erase board. When everyone is finished answering, the group shares answers and teaches each other if needed. If the student whose turn it is solved correctly, he or she moves that block like a normal Jenga game. That color problem is now crossed out. If their tower falls, the group continues the game without the blocks. You can give students an opportunity to "repair" their tower during the game.
