We use this game as one of our stations in Math Workshop but it could easily be used in any aspect of your math class whether it be for practice or an assessment.
Students work in groups to play the stacking game as they would normally. When they want to remove a certain color they must first solve the math problem correctly before removing the colored block of their choice. For example, if the student wants to move the purple block they would solve the first question in the purple square on their recording sheet. If that problem has already been solved, the student will solve the next question before moving on.
I purchased the Lewo Wooden Stacking Blocks on Amazon that are already colored but you could easily use the traditional wooden Jenga game and color the ends of the blocks.
