This lesson begins by reading with the class four introductory paragraphs about the development of limited monarchy in England. Students then need time to read an outline containing highlights of the several centuries of conflict between the king and Parliament. Information on the outline is used later in the period during the playing of a fun Jeopardy game with categories KINGS, QUEENS, EVENTS, FAMOUS PEOPLE, and WORDS AND TERMS.
