This fun jeopardy review covers five categories of instruction for Realidades 2 1A: Activities in class, Se prohibe or hay que rules, boot verbs, negative expressions, and translation based on key vocab and concepts.
Students get into groups, and take turns picking the category and point value. A question prompts, and the first group to guess it correctly wins the points. The answers for each slide are displayed on a click. The game can be played on an interactive whiteboard, with individual whiteboards, with a jeopardy buzzer set, written, or orally. This activity has an 'E' written on the side of about 40% of the slides, which I use to prompt a written response, instead of an oral response.
The questions increase in difficulty with the point value, and I have provided a sample of each category in the free preview. For the categories of boot verbs and negative expressions students have a word bank from which to formulate their answer.
This game is a ton of fun, and the students love it. Please post a question if you are interested in strategies to make games such as these more inclusive, and to avoid having one student answer all the questions. Have fun!
