Students will have a blast getting ready for their assessment on the Constitution when you prep them with Jeopardy!
This activity, created using a PowerPoint format, includes 30 questions and answers related to the drafting, ideas, and make-up of the Constitution. Material is divided into 5 categories of 6 questions each. Questions are assigned point values (in multiples of 100). The game includes two "Daily Doubles" and a "Final Jeopardy" question.
I generally divide the room into 2 competing groups. When a student answers a question correctly, I offer an extra credit point on the exam. Beyond that, the rules are up to you!
The presentation is saved using a Calibri font (which can be adjusted as needed) and in an Office 97-2003 format. The individual slides are already hyper-linked, so any adjustments made to the order of questions will need to take that into consideration.
I have had a great deal of success with this game and I hope you do, too!
