This is a Jeopardy game review for nationalities and plurals of nouns. This fun activity covers three categories of instruction: nationality adjectives, making nouns plural and speciality nouns (reina/rey), and translations.
Category one and two: students complete sentences based on prompts for nationality, using clues to decide gender and number.
Category three and four: students make problematic verbs plural or change gender.
category five: Students translate sentences from English prompts, based on nationality and sustantivos.
Students get into groups, and take turns picking the category and point value. A question prompts, and the first group to guess it correctly wins the points. The answers for each slide are displayed on a click. The game can be played on an interactive whiteboard, with individual whiteboards, with a jeopardy buzzer set, written, or orally.
The questions increase in difficulty with the point value, and I have provided a sample of each category in the free preview.
This game is a ton of fun, and the students love it. Please post a question if you are interested in strategies to make games such as these more inclusive, and to avoid having one student answer all the questions. Have fun!
This is best used for Spanish 2,3,4, and I use it in conjunction with Spanish for Mastery 3, situaciones.
