This is a fun activity that can be used to review nearly any concept! It also practices question formation.
Students must write a question and its answer. These can be written with certain parameters (use the past tense in your question, write a question related to your weekend, use a phrasal verb in your question, etc)
The student shows only the answer to his/her peers. Using the answer, the peers try to guess the question. Make sure that they are using proper question formation. Students can have either a set or an unlimited number of attempts to guess the question.
For example, if the answer is "New Year", the question might be "what is your favorite day of the year?" "what is January first?" "what day do Chinese people celebrate with fireworks?" etc.
