This is a comprehension packet for Jigsaw Jones: The Case of the Spoiled Rotten Spy by James Preller. It encourages practice with reading strategies such as reading with expression, analyzing character traits, predicting, and making connections. Students will be engaged in their reading as they answer various types of questions for each chapter. Students will practice writing complete sentences and participate in discussions. There is also some practice with recognizing and finding synonyms, verbs, and adjectives.
This book is a level O - 2.5/DRA 34 and was designed for use with first or second graders. However, it can also be used with individuals reading above or below grade-level in other grades.
An answer key is included so this packet can be used by paraprofessionals or volunteers to help students build comprehension skills.
