This ❤ Digital Interactive Activity ❤ is an engaging practice of working with "Distance & Midpoint Formula" . This is a BLENDED Activity as a HARD COPY of the activity is included in this product. This products has a total of 12 questions. This activity is great for DIFFERENTIATION.

This activity is self-checking. At the end of the activity, students would have formed a picture. Correct picture implies finding the correct answers. My students always enjoy working with a "Jigsaw Puzzle" activity. They appreciate this type of activity as it allows them to be independent and find their "own mistakes" before seeking any help.

Students should feel comfortable with:

Midpoint Formula Targeted Topics:
☑ Calculating the Midpoint between two points in a Cartesian Coordinate System using the Midpoint Formula
☑ Identifying the Coordinates of points on a Cartesian Coordinate System to use in calculating midpoint
☑ Writing Fractions in Simplest Form
☑ Finding the coordinates of the missing end point given the midpoint and the other end point

Distance Formula Targeted Topics:
☑ Calculating the Distance between two points in a Cartesian Coordinate System using the Distance Formula
☑ Identifying the Coordinates of points on a Cartesian Coordinate System to use in finding the distance of a line segment
☑ Feel comfortable with simplifying radicals (Ex: √18 = 3√2) as answers are exact (written using radicals)

In this activity students will be using Google Slides. Some students used their computers, some used their phones, while others used their IPADs. As long as there is a Google Drive there is a way.

The answer key is included in the file. I usually share it when all assignments are turned in "Electronically"
