This is a single five page unit from Reading Through History documenting the rise and fall of Jim Crow Laws in the American South from Plessy v. Ferguson (1896) to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. There is a two page reading followed by three pages of student activities. The student activities include multiple choice questions, a student response essay question, a guided reading activity, and vocabulary activities. There is enough material to cover around 45 minutes of class time.
