This arrangement is designed for students who want to play more than just the chorus of Jingle Bells so often found inside of string method books. The melody of the verse is adapted to fit the notes learned on the one octave D major scale. This arrangement can also be used as a duet, with one part playing an open string accompaniment while the other part takes the melody. All instruments play the exact same notes, and a SmartMusic file is included for teaching students in large groups. This can also be used for a student performing a solo by using the mp3 play along. The arrangement in the style of Motown/Cee-Lo Green follows the layout of the written song, but students can choose to play the melody or accompaniment twice. Individual string parts are also arranged in a way to be printed double sided, while mp3 track provides an interlude to make switch from arco to pizzicato and to turn page. A perfect way to get beginners practicing and performing this winter season!
