Letter Notes - Easy Recorder Songs
This song is in the key of G major. The notes used are D, E, F#, G, A, B, C, D and E.
Though the song is fairly straight forward, it's pretty "busy" in the verse. It's chock full of notes and there are dotted half and quarter notes in it.
With that all said, the chorus is what kids want to play over and over....and over again... :O That part is pretty easy. :)
✫ all bars are numbered..that's a big help when you're teaching a class.
✫ big notation
✫ all note names and a duplicate with no note names
✫ colored notes with corresponding colored recorder

A "Teacher Key" is also included. I recommend you use a translucent recorder when you show your students.
Just thought I'd mention this: there's no "funny stuff" in these song arrangements. I've notice some people like to put their own "personal touch" to Christmas songs. I'm not one of those people. They are transcribed traditionally, as most of us remember them.
