Product Description
This 18 slide powerpoint covers a brief author bio and close reading poetry analysis for John Milton's Sonnet VII and Sonnet XIX "When I Consider How My Light Was Spent". It also includes annotated poems and teacher notes.

I use this lecture with the Pearson British Lit book, but it could be used with the same poem from another book or online source.

The Whole 17th Century British Poetry Unit and other parts are available in my store through the following links:
17th Century British Poetry Unit
"Eve's Apology in Defense of Women" Lanier
"To the Virgins to Make Much of Time" and "To His Coy Mistress" Herrick/Marvell
Holy Sonnet X Donne

Please note, this product has been tested on Powerpoint 2010 for PC and Powerpoint 2011 for Mac. If you have any issues with the sizing, or anything, please contact me and I will create for you a static image ppt that will be universal. I'm in the process of adding this to all of my products, but full time teaching takes up most of my day ;)

Thank you! Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in any way ;)
