Product Description
In this project, students write a journal that includes reactions to John Muir: My Life with Nature by John Muir, Joseph Cornell, Elizabeth Ann Kelley and Christopher Canyon (Jul 3, 2000).

A prompt is provided for each of the nine chapters in the book. Students are asked to reflect on what they have read and apply it to their own lives – essentially comparing their encounters with nature to those of John Muir.

Students are encouraged to use markers, pens, and pencils to add color and interest, and to include doodles and sketches, just as John Muir did in his journals.

The students enjoyed the book and the chance to journal their own lives.

A grading rubric is included
