is a fun little rhyme that you can sing to the tune of " Here comes Peter Cottontail" or have it as a poem. It would be great as part of a lesson on Johnny Appleseed or John Chapman ( his real name) This poem is a great one for Circle Time or to set up in a Reading Center. This has been differentiated so that a variety of students are able to use it. Perfect for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and special education as a circle time read aloud, reading center activity or as part of a simple biography unit.

I find that I have a variety of students that I work with and having the same story in several different editions help to support all my students. I store them in a folder then give each child the edition that is appropriate for them.
