Students can write about apples while they learn about Johnny Appleseed!
There are several journal versions for differentiation. One version has dotted letters for the wording so that beginner writers can trace over them and still feel successful. There is a version with lines for the students to print the word themselves by copying from a card or sounding it out themselves. These journals are great for beginner writers!
The last version has writing lines for more experienced students to write narratives. First and second grade students can use these pages for practicing informative/explanatory text.
The journal pages cover these topics:
✏Colors of apples
✏Sizes of apples
✏Star inside an apple
✏Life cycle of apples
These journals are also included in our KinderLit collage book, Johnny Appleseed KinderLit Book
