PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Joshua's Song, by Joan Hiatt Harlow, is the story of a Boston boy in 1919 forced to become a newsie after his father dies from the influenza epidemic. This is a great novel to tie in to studies of the northeast region, child labor laws, or the early 1900's.

This printable is a set of questions for use at the end of the book. The questions require students to use higher level thinking skills, and gives teachers a simple tool for assessing comprehension.
