I use the "Jot Lot" for my students to respond to comprehension question task cards. I learned about Jot Lots at a training. A "Jot Lot" is a chart with student names or numbers and enough space for each one to post their task card for the day. They post their answer. I can quickly see who has answered and who hasn't. I score them quickly with the rubric, and hand them back to the students. Then, we have a "Fish Bowl" about their answers. My students glue them in their journals and write a refelction about their score.
