Journal Writing
Share

Description

This is a chance to write letters in a journal with each of your students. By writing to them you will get to know them better. They will improve their writing skills by writing more often. I include my first journal letter to my students and 20 questions to ask as the year goes by. Please leave a rating! This could also be done as e-mail, since many students have e-mail accounts. You would need to make an account just for writing with students.

This is a great way to make journal writing more interesting for students and to perform an ongoing interest assessment, without trying. definitely will use.

I am first year teacher and I was wondering how to communicate with my students on a personal level. I had thought of this idea before but didn't quite know how to get started. Thanks for info.
