Product Description
Students will write a story about their imaginary journey to the center of the Earth. In the past, I have started this lesson by reading students Faith McNulty's "How to Dig a Hole to the Other Side of the Earth." Includes literacy and the opportunity for students to be creative while illustrating their story about the different layers of our planet.

This activity has been used with students of all ages, especially with gifted students of the younger years.
