This resource packet includes a 2-page Study Guide for all Unit 4 selections to help your students practice key comprehension skills. The questioning format addresses Common Core Standards and uses questions that require more in-depth analysis rather than "right there" questions. Much emphasis is placed on locating the information in the text AND answering in complete sentences, making this a perfect tool to help assess those critical reading and English standards for 3rd graders.
These can be used in many different ways. Use these at a literacy center to allow practice finding answers in the text, use for independent practice as homework, or use with whole-group or small-group instruction as guided practice with many different comprehension strategies. You can even cut them apart and make stations or task cards placed around the room to create a "scoot" game to get your students up and moving while they practice applying their comprehension skills!
Answer keys are provided in both a color and a black-line version for you.
