How to use:

There are a couple of different ways to use this resource. The first way is to use the pages as worksheets. Simply print a copy for each of your students and hand them out. You won’t need to print the answer sheets or playing pieces if using as worksheets.

The second way is the way I use them in my classroom; as centers. To use as centers:
1. Print a copy of each activity and laminate them. If you notice, there is a letter in the bottom right corner that tells you which activity you are working with
2. Print 1 copy of the answer cards and playing pieces except for the turtles that have the word on them. Those you will need to print two copies of each set as students need them for activity d and h. Once again I laminate so the resources last longer.
3. Cut out the playing pieces and answers cards.
4. Put them in Ziplocs and label the Ziplocs according to activity. For example, label one bag activity a. The turtles with just letters on them are for activity G and the turtles with the words on them are for activities d and h.
5. I then put the activities in a pocket chart. For example, the first pocket holds everything needed for Activity A (worksheet and answer card), the second pocket holds everything for Activity B ( worksheet and answer card) and so on. In addition to the printed resources, I keep a dry erase marker in each pocket. This is so the student can write on the worksheets and then wipe off for the next user.
6. You’re done! Enjoy the spelling center.
