These 16 readers compliment the readers I made for units 1-4. They will continue to give your students extra practice with sight words. The simple repetitive text allow students to practice reading sight words in sentence format. They are designed to help young readers build confidence and promote fluency. They are perfect to use for both whole class and small group activities. My students love to take their little books home to read to their families. These readers are easy to make! It only takes one page, one fold, two cuts, and two staples. They include the sight words from unit five of Journeys 2014 Common Core edition. In this unit the students learn six words a week. The books are made by combining some words so that the students receive four books a week.
