Product Description

Want to find a way to get your kids engaged during the weekly reading?

This Tool-In-Hand is a great way to get kids digging into the reading AND get those higher order thinking skills in!

This (typically) starts on Day 2 which you can find in the middle section. This is the weekly graphic organizer to teach the skill of the week (i.e. Cause & Effect, Main Idea & Detail, etc), along with a few questions that get them going back into the text.

Day 3 (found on the left) is either another skill that can be applied with the weekly reading or a few questions that relate back to the text (these questions are usually pulled from the blue questions from day 1 reading).

Day 4 (found on the back) is either the Text to Text, Text to Self, or Text to World question from the second story. I also add in a few other questions that are great comprehension questions and get your kids to write down THEIR OWN THINKING!

In this file you will find:

- the Tool-In-Hand

- answer key

This is made with the intent to be printed on 11x17 paper.

**Thank you so much for your purchase! I encourage you to leave feedback after you use this with your class. I like to know what works, what doesn’t, and what I can adapt or improve on.**
