Product Description
Students will be given 3 scenarios involving a decision that was made by a school (Executive Branch) or teacher (Legislative Branch). An example would be a student coming to school with a mohawk and the school deciding to send them home. The students will then pretend to be the Supreme Court and interpret an excerpt from a Student Handbook (Constitution) that connects with the scenario; for example, a Dress Code Policy. They will discuss and decide based on the Handbook whether the decision was Constitutional or not and give evidence for their ruling.
