Pg. 7 Spelling Art! – roll the dice to see what color to write each spelling word – write each word four times
Pg. 8-9 Write a Silly Sentence! – a foldable book - write your spelling words on the correct page according to how they are spelled – write a silly sentence using those spelling words to help you remember their vowel combinations
Pg. 10-12 Comprehension Flip It! – copy pages A and B back to back, fold on the solid line and cut on the dotted lines – lift the flaps to answer the questions, and illustrate
Pg. 13 Adjectives – draw a picture of Judy and use adjectives to describe her
Pg. 14-17 Author’s Purpose – fold on the solid line and glue the sides to form a pocket – cut out the detail cards, write a detail on each card, write the theme on the pocket – put the detail trash cards into the recycling bin pocket
Pg. 18-20 Write it Down! – keep track of your trash and recyclables – copy pages A and B back to back, fold the sides of the paper in to form doors – lift the flaps to record your information

Pg. 31-38 Rainforest Report – copy papers, cut out and glue covers onto writing to create flaps, label on the flaps where appropriate and lift the flap to write – there is a blank box for illustrating a picture of the rainforest – fold a large paper to form doors – glue as shown in the illustration
