This worksheet helps students go further into both Brutus and Antony's funeral speeches.
After reading, I hand out this sheet, and students use annotation symbols to go through and mark the text. Then, they explain a little more thoroughly why they put some of the symbols down. Finally, they compare the two speeches.
I have seen great success with this worksheet my sophomores, especially those who I wondered if they were getting anything out of our reading.
This assignment is an ALTERNATIVE/ADAPTATION to my annotation assignments over each individual funeral speech.
