This is a simulation that recreates the European crisis of July 1914 that led to the outbreak of WW1. Students role-play a country (either Great Britain, France, Russia, Germany, Austria-Hungary or Serbia) and make decision in timed conditions based on the information they are given for each day of the crisis. Supplementary powerpoint regarding the Schlieffen Plan and the actual events following the declarations of war in late July/early August of 1914.
