Each emergent reader practices several sight words and reinforces concepts such as number words, color words, main idea and details, sequencing, characters, setting, and more! Each book comes with several corresponding response and differentiated writing activities. This bundle will contain all of my July Emergent Reader Dollar Deals. This bundle will include 6 emergent reader titles and corresponding activities.


Penny Pineapple Loves Summer Reinforce sight words, color words, quotations, main idea and details, and writing a response with this fun and engaging emergent reader! My "Penny Pineapple Loves Summer" mini book practices the sight words I, love, said, to, in, my, as Penny tells what she loves to do in the summer. I have included two levels of writing practice. For beginning writers, a traceable sentence starter is included. Students will draw a picture of another activity Penny might like to do in the summer. More advanced writers will write a complete sentence to match their picture. I have also included a main idea and details lift the flap graphic organizer. Given the main idea, students will draw and write details from the text to complete it.

Making a Banana Split Reinforce sight words, sequencing, and writing a response with this fun and engaging "how to" emergent reader! My "Making a Banana Split" mini book uses simple text to explain the steps of making a banana split. I have included two levels of writing practice. For beginning writers, a traceable sentence starter is included. Students will draw a picture of what they would put on a banana split. More advanced writers will write a complete sentence to match their picture. I have also included a full color sequencing/retelling puzzle.
