Jungle Job Directions
Pages 1-2 – Jungle Job Banner:
Print the banner cards out on cardstock, laminate and cut. Punch two holes at the top of each letter and string them together with ribbon. Hang them at the top of your jobs bulletin board.
Pages 4-8 – Jungle Job headers
These are the headers for your jungle jobs. Print off the cards you plan on using as your individual jobs. Laminate and cut them out. Use the editable PowerPoint to type in your students names to place under the job they are assigned. You can hang these with push pins if the board is a bulletin board. My job board is on a door so I use the 3M photo hangers to quickly replace names weekly without damaging the cards.
Page 9 – Table Group jobs
Each table (I have six seats at a table) has a different animal. Each table has the same animals but in different colors. I use these as table jobs. For example, from the jungle job headers I put the paper passer under the giraffe card, then every giraffe at each table is in charge of passing out paper to each of their table-mates. The cards I use for table group jobs are:
Paper Passer – in charge of getting papers for the entire table.
Supplies – in charge of getting any supplies for the table.
Recycling – I keep a trash can on each table for paper scraps and this student empties it at the end of the day in the recycling bin.
Table Wiper – They clean the table at the end of the day.
Chair Stacker – they put the chairs up at the end of the day.
Pages 10-15 Table Group cards.
Each page has a different color as a background. My tables are split up by colors. On the back of each chair I put one of the animals so each table has the same 6 animals.
