This is one of the first of many to come!
I designed this for my first grader so she could do an age appropriate challenge along side her older sister and it turned out to be so fun to create that I decided I will read the the whole series that we have and make one for each book.
This would be a great way to enrich the reading experience of advanced readers in the 1st grade, 2nd grade readers, or a great way to help struggling readers in the 3rd grade.
There are questions that test comprehension, critical thinking and other questions are opinion pieces and some drawing to help children express themselves in various ways.
The book should be read one chapter at a time and one page of the report should be done afterwards before reading the next. At the end of the book there is a conclusion page and a character portrait page. There is also a title page that can be completed at any point by the student.
We plan to do this over 10-12 days with a chapter being read each school day and the corresponding page being completed. The 10th-12th day will be for the character portraits, conclusion and title page.
As always you are welcome to share this with your teaching team (only) for free no need to buy additional licences and I will be donating each report I make to my local school.
Don't forget to come back and leave your comments or suggestions for your TpT credits!
