I used this open-ended question assignment while viewing Jurassic Park with my middle schoolers. Students will synthesize information, draw conclusions, form opinions, and review some genetics/evolution concepts to tie into your curriculum. 10 open-ended questions, with space for them to write. Questions are a nice blend of plot point questions, and analysis/opinion questions making them think for themselves beyond the movie plot points.
Please note: This movie has some gore and language, and for my district, I had to send home a media use permission slip for my middle schoolers. It would be wise to mute the movie regardless at the line "that is one big pile of $%^#"
